Hey there! I'm Anneliese, a passionate creative who grew up in the breath-taking landscapes of Broome, Western Australia. As a child, I found solace and connection in the company of animals, spending more time in amongst nature than around people.
From an early age, I discovered my love for art and music however, the pressures of school and the struggle with certain subjects, particularly math, left me feeling disheartened and questioning my abilities. I felt like a failure, and for years, that nagging imposter syndrome overshadowed my true potential.
But life has a way of guiding us back to our passions. While pursuing ambitious goals in the corporate 9-to-5 world and running a Pet Photography business on the side, I couldn't ignore the emptiness I felt. At 30 I rekindled my relationship with painting, and rediscovered my creativity.
My Mission
My mission is to inspire others to embrace their own creative journeys, to break free from self-doubt, and to celebrate the beauty we can share with the world. Many creative souls are put on this planet to Make, Entertain, Bring Joy. My ancestors had a rich culture with intricate craftsmanship who trading for hundreds of years and I want to keep slow, sustainable and handmade art alive today.
